Workshop on nitrous oxide inhalation sedation conducted

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry organised a workshop on “Nitrous Oxide Inhalation Sedation – Lecture series with Hands on Demonstration” on 20th and 21st September 2022. The course instructor for this programme was Dr.Srinivas Namineni, Consultant Pediatric Dentist, Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Hyderabad. Over 60 participants across the country, including faculty, clinicians, postgraduate and undergraduate students had registered for the programme. An extensive coverage on the nitrous oxide inhalation sedation including machine design, patient selection and treatment planning was done by the speaker. Hands on demonstration was done on patients. Delegates were allowed to experience the nitrous oxide sedation. 12 CDE points were allotted by the TN dental council for this program.
