A white coat ceremony was held on Tuesday, 30th April, in the dental college auditorium. Dr.Ritu Duggal, Chief, Centre for Dental Education and Research, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi was the Chief Guest for the event. She distributed white coats to the new batch of III year BDS students who were entering the clinics for the first time. She also addressed the students present and educated them about the importance of empathy in patient management. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan delivered the White Coat Ceremony Oath to the students. Vice-Principals, Directors, Heads of Departments and other faculty members were also present during the ceremony.
