Value-added course on soft skills and leadership organized for interns

The Value-Added Courses Committee organized a programme titled “Soft Skills and Leadership for Interns” from 24th to 29th August 2026. The programme commenced with Dr.Chandramohan’s presentation on “Think Big, Achieve Big” followed by Dr.Muguntharajan’s session on “Soft Skills are Life Skills” and Dr.Rajmohan’s discussion on “Wealth Creation”. The programme concluded with an inspiring lecture by Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan on “Soft Skills – The Unspoken Story.” Around 100 interns participated in the programme and gained valuable insights through the interactive sessions. The programme encouraged interns to enhance their communication and interpersonal skills, build confidence and self-awareness, improve time management and financial planning, and develop a broader perspective towards career growth and professional development. The sessions empowered the interns to approach their clinical practice with greater confidence and adaptability while preparing them to become well-rounded dental professionals and future leaders.
