UG and PG students visit schools on Doctor’s Day!

As part of the Doctor’s Day celebrations, postgraduate and undergraduate students from the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry visited Avvai KSR Kindergarten School and KSR Matric Higher Secondary school, Tiruchengode on 1st July 2026. The session commenced with an interactive video presentation on proper toothbrushing techniques, healthy dietary habits, and the importance of consuming nutritious foods. The children enthusiastically engaged with the visual content and actively participated throughout the session. This was followed by a toothbrushing demonstration using a dental puppet model, during which the children were individually encouraged to demonstrate the correct toothbrushing technique. The program was well received by the students and teachers, making the Doctor’s Day celebration both educational and memorable.
