The 12th Clinicopathological Meeting of the Triple-O Departments was successfully held on 27th March 2026, featuring an engaging and informative session centered on the theme “Reactive Lesions: The Body’s Exaggerated Response.” Dr.R.Naveena (PG student) presented three clinical cases of gingival overgrowth, detailing their histories, clinical presentations, and diagnosis. This was followed by Dr.M.Monisha (PG student), who offered an in-depth interpretation of the histopathological features of normal epithelium, fibrous hyperplasia, and pyogenic granuloma. The session concluded with Dr.Vijay Aravind, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, who highlighted various treatment approaches for gingival overgrowth, including surgical, electrocautery, and laser modalities. The event witnessed active participation from 23 faculty members, 62 postgraduate students, and 73 interns. This interdisciplinary platform promoted meaningful academic exchange, enriched understanding of reactive oral lesions, and reinforced collaborative learning.
