Team OPath wins laurels in IAOMP National Conference!

Two faculty members and four postgraduates from the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology participated in the 31st National Conference of the Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologists, held between 29th November and 1st December 2024 in Kodaikanal. Dr.H.Prasad, Professor and Head, conducted a pre-conference course titled “Essential ImageJ Skills for Histopathology Research” on 28th November at CSI College of Dental Sciences, Madurai, as a part of the event. All six participants also presented papers in the conference. Dr.H.Prasad won the session’s second best paper award, while Dr.Nivethetha (postgraduate student), won the session’s Best Paper award. Dr.H.Prasad was also elected as an Executive Committee member of the IAOMP, in the elections held during the conference. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan congratulated the team for bringing laurels to the college.
