A screening camp was organised by the Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with the Indian Dental Association, Erode branch on 13th June 2026 at the Corporation Office, Erode. Around 65 conservancy workers of Erode corporation were screened for oral diseases. They were educated about the ill effects of tobacco and the maintenance of oral health and hygiene.
