As a part of rural oral health service and to commemorate World Patient’s Safety Day, the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics had conducted a free screening camp for sanitary workers functioning under Tiruchengode Municipality on Wednesday, 27th September 2023. A total of 65 persons were screened and their oral health status was evaluated. The importance of oral health and its relationship with systemic health was explained by a team of three faculty members and 10 CRIs. The patients were made aware of their dental health status and they were also informed about the treatment that needs to be done.
