Screening camp conducted at special school for the differently abled!

In view of World Oral Health Day, a screening camp was conducted by the Department of Public Health Dentistry and the Department of Pedodontics on 23rd March 2024 at Erode Arima Society Trust, Special School For Differently Abled, Sengodampalayam, Erode. In the program, 35 special children were screened for oral diseases. A health talk on maintenance of oral hygiene and proper brushing technique was given by Dr.Sangeeta, PG student in Pedodontics. A team of 13 members, which included staff, PG student, interns, NSS volunteers and non-teaching staff, conducted the camp. The program was successful in addressing the oral health care for children with special needs.
