Screening camp conducted at Al Ameen Engineering College!

An oral health screening camp was conducted by the Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with the Indian Dental Association, Erode Branch, at Al Ameen Engineering College, Nanjaiuthukuli, Erode on 2nd September 2024. Around 118 first year students were screened for oral diseases. A talk was delivered on the maintenance of oral hygiene and ill effects of tobacco use by Dr.R.Prakash, Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry. A team of 12 members which included teaching staff, interns and non teaching members conducted the camp. The program was successful in delivering the oral health awareness for the students.
