School dental health education program organized at Government Higher Secondary School!

Team Pedo organized a School Dental Health Education Program at Government Higher Secondary School, Nanjappa Valasu, Erode district on 27th March 2024, as a part of World Oral Health Day Celebrations. Oral health awareness education was given to 350 children of Grade VI to IX regarding sports injuries and the precautionary methods. Immediate management of dental traumatic injuries were emphasized. Brushing demonstrations were given to all children. Around 60 children of Grade VI were screened for oral problems and referred to KSRIDSR for further treatment.
