Proconnect ’26 – Workshop on fixed restorations conducted from 22nd to 24th July 2026

“Proconnect ’26 (Workshop on Fixed Restorations)” was jointly conducted by the Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge and the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics on 22nd, 23rd, and 24th July 2026. It was attended by 5 postgraduate students and 69 interns, who underwent hands-on training in the clinical procedures of ceramic laminate veneer restorations. They also attended hands-on demonstrations and lecture sessions on clinical, practical and laboratory procedures and solutions to problems encountered during fixed restorative procedures. A pre- and post-test was conducted along with feedback from the participants. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan appreciated the participants and encouraged the resource faculty to continue the good work. E-certificates were presented to the participants and the resource faculty.
