The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge conducted Pro-Talk ’24 as a CDE program titled 3D-Path Guide-O-mania, on 9th and 10th September 2024. The program was scheduled with the objective of making the delegates understand and follow protocols for guided implant surgery. Resource faculty Dr.Arunkumar mentored the program. He demonstrated single implant placement, and direct and indirect sinus lift procedures in live patients using 3-D guides. A hands-on demo for implant placement using models was given to the 25 participants (6 faculty and 19 postgraduates) who attended the program. A pre and post-test was conducted and feedback was collected from the participants. The Tamil Nadu Dental Council acknowledged the program with 7 CDE credit points. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan felicitated the resource faculty with an e-certificate and memento. The participants were also presented with certificates.
