Postgraduate students of Oral Pathology win Best Paper awards!

Six postgraduate students and three faculty members from the Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology participated in the 30th National Conference of the Indian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologists held at KLE University, Belagavi from 3rd to 5th November 2023. All nine participants presented original research papers in the conference. Dr.N.Swathi and Dr.R.Heera, final year postgraduate students, won the Best Paper Awards in their respective sessions for their research titled “Wheatgrass -Exploring its Phytochemical Property & Antibacterial Activity: An invitro study” and “Efficacy of Honey & Coconut oil as Fixative in Routine Cytological Smears – A cross sectional study” respectively. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan appreciated and congratulated the winners.
