Dr.Boopesh.R, 3rd Year Postgraduate Student, Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, has been granted a Copyright Registration by the Copyright Office, Government of India, for the innovative digital dental tool “T-metry.” The copyright application was successfully filed with the valuable support and guidance of the institution’s Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Team. The AI-based tool is designed to objectively analyze 3D crown preparations, facilitating accurate assessment of critical preparation parameters and enhancing precision in fixed prosthodontic procedures. This achievement reflects the department’s commitment to research, innovation, and the advancement of digital dentistry.
