Outreach program organized on World Senior Citizen’s Day

A screening and free denture camp was organized for the inmates of Maria Nivas Home for the Aged at their premise on 21st August 2023. A total of 36 patients were screened, of which 11 were rehabilitated with removable complete/partial dentures. Six postgraduate students, four interns and two dental mechanics, under the guidance of teaching faculty from the department, completed the clinical and laboratory procedures till the trial stage. The processed dentures were then delivered to the patients on 26th August 2023. The patients were reviewed for post insertion complaints on 30th August 2023. A certificate of appreciation was awarded by the sister-in-charge of the Home to the camp facility-in-charge (KSRIDSR).
