Outreach and awareness camp conducted at Maria Nivas Home for the Aged!

The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, along with NSS and Rotaract organized an outreach and awareness programme on the importance of replacement of missing teeth for the inmates of Maria Nivas Home for the Aged on 23rd August 2025 in celebration of World Senior Citizen Day. A total of 22 members, including 6 postgraduate students, 5 interns, 5 NSS students, 3 Rotaract club members, 2 teaching faculty, 1 non-teaching staff, and 1 driver, facilitated the outreach program. Role-play was performed by postgraduate students and interns regarding the importance of replacement of missing teeth. Oral screening was done for 35 inmates. A review was done for 2 patients who were earlier rehabilitated with a prosthesis in the previous denture camp.
