The orientation program for the new First Year BDS batch (2025-26) was conducted from 8th to 11th October 2025, providing a warm welcome and essential introductions to the students and their parents. On 8th October, the program commenced in the college auditorium with an address by the Principal, who extended greetings and shared valuable insights about the institution and the dental course. This was followed by a speech from the Guest of Honor, Dr.Aruna Mohan, CEO & Co-founder of Capstone Multi-speciality Hospital, Chennai, who inspired the students with her experiences and motivating words. Subsequent addresses were delivered by the Vice-Principals, Directors, and Heads of Departments, offering detailed information about their respective departments. The session continued with addresses by the Mentor-Mentee Chairpersons and the Hostel Co-chairperson, emphasizing the support system available for students during their academic journey. Marking a remarkable day, a tree planting ceremony was conducted, involving both parents and students, symbolizing growth and new beginnings.
On 9th October, student guides organized a departmental tour in batches, introducing the new students to all clinical departments. This was complemented by a comprehensive orientation of the college library, familiarizing the students with the academic resources available to them. The orientation program successfully oriented the new batch to the college environment, academics, and support systems, laying a strong foundation for their future studies.
