An orientation program was conducted for the new batch of second-year BDS students and their parents on 19th November 2024 in the dental auditorium. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan addressed the gathering regarding the importance of attending the orientation program and the college’s overall functioning and achievements. The vice principals, directors and mentor-mentee chairperson explained the functioning of their respective committees. Heads of second-year subjects’ departments explained the nature of work done in their respective departments. Dr.Deepa, the faculty warden of the dental ladies’ hostel re-emphasized the rules to be followed in the hostel. The parents were invited to an open forum, which was very interactive. This was followed by the interaction of parents and students with their respective mentors.
