Oral health screening camp conducted in primary school!

An oral health screening camp was conducted by the Department of Public Health Dentistry in SSM Lakshmiammal Nursery and Primary School, Komarapalayam, Nmakkal for the primary and nursery students on 18th and 19th July 2024. Around 1358 students were screened for oral diseases. They were demonstrated about proper brushing method and also maintenance of oral hygiene. A team of 15 members which included teaching staffs, interns, final years and non teaching members conducted the camp. The program was successful in imparting oral health awareness among students.
