The Department of Periodontics, in association with the Department of Public Health Dentistry, organized an Oral Health Screening and Treatment Camp at the Veterinary College and Research Institute (VCRI), Namakkal, on 16th July 2025, commemorating Oral Hygiene Day. A total of 195 individuals were screened, and 40 underwent scaling. Interactive group discussions and lectures were also conducted to educate students and faculty on oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing techniques and interdental cleaning aids, using models. Following the camp, the faculty of VCRI graciously facilitated a guided farm visit for the dental students, offering valuable insights into livestock management practices within the campus.
