Team Pedo initiated oral health camps for tribal children of Salem district. Oral screening was done for 400 children of Grade I to VIII from four government schools in Karumandurai, Thekkapattu, Thalvallam, Kariyakovilvalavu tribal areas of Salem district on 6th December 2024. Oral health status of these children were recorded and oral hygiene practices were demonstrated. Children with good oral hygiene were encouraged with toothpaste kits and certificates as rewards.
