Oral health awareness program for children with HIV conducted!

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry conducted an oral health awareness program specially tailored for children with HIV at Nalam Child Development Center on 7th December 2024. The program included interactive sessions to educate children about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and its impact on overall health. Tooth brushing demonstrations were shown on brushing models. The event also featured drawing competitions and fun activities to encourage active participation. Toothpaste kits and certificates of appreciation were distributed to those who demonstrated good oral hygiene practices.
