National Orthodontic Awareness week celebrated

On the occasion of the National Orthodontic Awareness Week (1st to 7th October 2022) and the National Orthodontic Day – 5th October 2022, the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics celebrated the events with free orthodontic consultations in the department for walk in patients for the entire week. An exclusive innovative wire bending competition was also held for the Interns. Many showcased their talents and cash prizes were awarded. As a part of creating awareness among general public, an awareness rally was organized within the campus by the staff, interns and PGs of Orthodontic department which was presided by our Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan. A presentation regarding orthodontic treatment needs was presented to the students and staff of KSR College of Arts and Science for Women on 7th Oct in their college campus through which many clarified their doubts on their journey towards orthodontic treatment.
