KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research conducted its student council election (Therdhal’25) on 4th April 2025. Nominations were submitted to the chief election officer for a total of 6 posts each for students from the 1st to 4th year BDS; 8 posts for CRI, and 4 posts for PGS, by 27th March 2025. Campaign period lasted from 28th March to 3rd April. The college president and vice president for 2025 were elected by faculty members and interns. The election results were announced during the investiture ceremony held on 7th April in the college auditorium. The ceremony began with an address by Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan, who extended a warm welcome to the distinguished chief guest, Dr.Baby John, Dean of Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem and to all attendees. Professor Dr.Baby John delivered an engaging speech highlighting the path a leader should tread to become competent and to exercise democracy. He encouraged students and faculty members to practice leadership with integrity and maintain a vision for excellence. The ceremony concluded with the chief guest congratulating and distributing badges to the elected members.
