The ICT and IQAC of KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research organized a guest lecture titled ‘Beyond the Chair: Building a Successful Dental Career Through Smart Practice Management’ on 10th June 2026. The session was conducted to provide students and faculty with insights into modern dental practice management, technology integration, and career development. Dr.Lakshmanan Sowmithri Sivarajan, Director of three dental practices in Australia, served as the resource person. He explained how the Gleno PMS Suite can help dental clinics adopt efficient workflows. Mr.Sathish Venkatachalam, Co-founder, Gleno PMS, delivered a presentation on the functional aspects of the software. He demonstrated the key features of the practice management system, including patient records management, appointment scheduling, treatment planning, billing, reporting, and workflow automation. The session highlighted how digital tools can improve operational efficiency and enhance patient care. The program was highly informative and interactive. Participants gained valuable knowledge regarding smart practice management, digital transformation in dentistry, and the effective use of technology in clinical practice. The session concluded with an engaging discussion and question-and-answer segment.
