A guest lecture on “Recent Advances in Head and Neck Cancer” was delivered by Dr.Shradha Parameswaran, Consultant Radiation Oncologist, Erode Cancer Centre on 30th October 2025 in Rang Enclave. She emphasized the importance of early detection, multidisciplinary management, and the vital role of dental professionals in pre- and post-radiotherapy oral care. Dr.Shradha discussed recent advances in imaging, innovations in radiotherapy, and updates in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. The session also highlighted the integration of AI in diagnosis and treatment, enriching participants’ understanding of modern oncology and fostering collaborative learning in cancer care. Faculty members, postgraduates, interns and undergraduate students attended the guest lecture.
