Faculty Development Program conducted by Team Prostho!

The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge conducted a CDE program on 29th and 30th September 2023 to commemorate the International Day of the Elderly. “Pro Talk 23” was conducted as a faculty development programme by two eminent dental faculty from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. The objective of the program was to guide participants to prepare manuscripts of their research and convert them to publications. Resource faculty Dr.V.Anand Kumar and Dr.R.Fatima Banu spoke on the theme “Research to publication”. A total of 110 participants (59 faculty and 51 post graduates) attended the program from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm, on both days. A pre and post test was conducted and feedback was collected from the participants. The Tamil Nadu Dental Council acknowledged the program with 8 CDE credit points and this was shared with the participants, in their e- certificates. The resource faculty were felicitated by Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan with certificates.
