Around 160 students and 5 faculty members from our institution participated in a rally organized on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day by the Tiruchengode IDA on 31st May 2025. The rally started at Anna statue near Tiruchengode old bus stand. The President, Secretary and Members of Tiruchengode IDA were also present in the rally. Placards were displayed and pamphlets were distributed to public during the rally to create awareness about the ill effects of tobacco among people. A role play was enacted by the students on the physical and social consequences of tobacco use.
