Dr.Sharath Asokan delivered two guest lectures in ISPPD Authors & Reviewers Workshop!

The Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (ISPPD) organized the National Authors and Reviewers Workshop – Essentials in Scientific Writing on the 25th and 26th of April 2025 at the KMC Auditorium, Anjarakandy, Kannur. The event was hosted by the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Kannur Dental College, Anjarakandy Integrated Campus, Kannur. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan, who is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (JISPPD), was instrumental in organizing this prestigious workshop. He also delivered two insightful guest lectures titled “The peer review/editorial cycle” and “Editor’s Perspective – expectations and tips”. He shared his expertise on various facets of scientific writing and peer reviewing. The event was well-received, with over 100 registered participants, including postgraduate students and faculty members, who greatly benefitted from the comprehensive and interactive sessions.
