The committee members of the IPR Cell, KSRIDSR, participated in the Faculty Development Program on ‘IPR for Startups: Guide to Research, IP Career, and Startup Ecosystem,’ held from 12th to 15th March 2025, which was organized by KS Rangasamy College of Technology, in association with the Patent Information Centre, Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and the Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Dr.R.Renuka Devi, delivered a guest lecture followed by a hands-on workshop on “Patent Drafting”. Participants gained hands-on experience of the key components of patents drafting including prior art search, claims, description, and diagrams. This FDP proved to be an invaluable opportunity for the participants to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of IPR, especially in startups and technology transfer.
