Dr.H.Prasad, Director (IQAC) and Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, was invited as the Chief Guest and Resource Person for the CDE program titled “Empowering Youth Towards Viksit Bharath” as a part of the 78th Independence Day celebration organized by the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology, A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, on 30th August 2024. The theme of the program was “Artificial Intelligence and Research”. Dr.Prasad delivered a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence: A New Lens on Oral Diagnosis”, which was attended by over 200 undergraduate students and 30 postgraduates and faculty members.
