Dr.H.Prasad, Director (IQAC) and Professor, Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, and Dr.C.Nitya Kala, Reader, Department of Periodontics, together won the Best Paper Award in the National Conference on Technology and Innovation in Healthcare – Spark ’24, conducted on 23rd and 24th August 2024 by Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (DU) in Salem. They presented a paper titled “Beyond the Hype – Ethical Considerations and Best Practices in AI Powered Oral Diagnosis”. Dr.Prasad and Dr.Nitya Kala were also invited to chair and judge scientific sessions individually. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan congratulated both of them.
