Dental screening and awareness camp conducted at JPS Academy, Tiruchengode!

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry along with the Department of Public Health Dentistry conducted a comprehensive dental screening and awareness camp at JPS Academy, Tiruchengode, on 16th June 2025. A total of 360 students from Grade I to IX were screened during the camp. The primary objective was to assess the oral health status of the school children. As part of the initiative, oral health education sessions were conducted to raise awareness about the importance of dental care, proper brushing techniques, dietary habits, and preventive strategies to avoid common dental problems. The camp was well-received by the school staff, students, and parents.
