The D9 Summit 2024 was officially inaugurated at KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, Tiruchengode on 12th November 2024, marking a dual celebration as the institution also commemorates its 20th Anniversary. This D9 Summit, an intercollegiate extravaganza from 12th to 14th November brings together students from nine leading dental colleges in the South West region of Tamil Nadu, including Vivekananda Dental College for Women, RVS Dental College and Hospital, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, JKK Natrajah Dental College, Sri Ramakrishna Dental College, Best Dental College, CSI Dental College, Nanda Dental College, and the host institution, KSR Institute of Dental Sciences and Research (KSRIDSR). Mr.K.S.Sachin, Vice Chairman, KSR Educational Institutions, presided over the function. Dr.Gunaseelan Rajan, Director, Rajan Dental Institute, Chennai inaugurated the event and delivered the Chief Guest address. Principal and Organizing Chairman Dr.Sharath Asokan welcomed the gathering and introduced the idea behind this D9 Summit. Dr.D.Kandaswamy (Adjunct Professor), Dr.C.A.Mathew, (Vice Principal and Organising Secretary), and Principals from the participating dental colleges were present in this inaugural event. The summit features a range of activities, with more than 400 participants showcasing their talents in scientific presentations, cultural performances, and sports competitions.
