The International Day of Families, a day to recognise how important families are in our society and why families matter, was celebrated by the Centre for Sustainable Development Goals, KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, on the 15th of May 2024. To instill a sense of belonging and a bond to one’s family, a family tree designing competition was held. Around 126 students participated and designed paper and digital family trees. The family tree design winners, Samruthi (IV year), Gangothri (II year) and Sanjana (IV year) were appreciated by Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan.
