A CDE program titled “Dentilligence – Artificial intelligence in Dentistry” was organised by the Department of Public Health Dentistry on 20th June 2025. The program started with an inaugural function which was presided by Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan. Dr.R.Prakash, Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, delivered the welcome address. The resource person for the program was Dr.Sibyl Siluvai, Professor and Head, Department of Public Health Dentistry, SRM Kattankulathur Dental college and Hospital, Chennai, who shared her expertise on the topic of Artificial Intelligence with insightful lectures. The program was well attended by about 82 participants including staff members, postgraduate students and interns. The program turned out beneficial for the interns and post graduate students.
Certificates were also distributed to the prize winners in the Role play for Third years, Poster presentation for Final years and Table clinic for Interns, which were conducted as part of World No Tobacco Day activities. The prize winners for Model Panel discussion for final years & interns and Quiz for Postgraduates, conducted as part of National Public Health Dentistry Day celebration, were also awarded certificates.
