The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry successfully conducted a Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program titled “Open Secret – Unlocking the Arches” on 13th August 2025 at Rang Enclave. The scientific sessions were delivered by eminent speakers Dr.Roshan Rayen (Rayen Dental Care Centre, Chennai) and Dr.Janani RG (Little Krishna Kids Dental Care, Coimbatore), who shared their expertise on topics including “F1 – Function First”, “RME – Expand Your Pediatric Orthodontic Outlook”, and “Canine is King – Crowding and its Management”. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from interns, postgraduates, and faculty members of KSR Institute of Dental Science and Research, along with delegates from Vivekananda Dental College for Women, Tiruchengode and Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem. Over 100 participants attended the lecture sessions, and 25 participants took part in the exclusive Hands-on workshop. This program, accredited with 6 CDE points by the Tamil Nadu Dental Council, provided an engaging platform for knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and collaborative learning in the field of pediatric orthodontics.
