Team OPath, the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology, along with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell organized a CDE program titled “Oral Pathology: The Diagnostic Backbone of Clinical Dentistry” on 23rd December 2025. A total of 117 participants including faculty members of various departments, postgraduate students and undergraduate students attended the event. The resource faculties for this programme were Dr.Sinthana Arun, an alumnus of KSRIDSR and the proprietor of Jai Implant and Orthodontic Centre, Namakkal and Dr.Yoithap Prabhunath, Professor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Oral Microbiology, Vivekanandha Dental College for Women, Namakkal. They delivered lectures on “Role of oral pathology in clinical dentistry” and “Oral cancer – An insight beyond microscope” respectively. The feedback from the participants was overwhelmingly positive.
