Camp organized in celebration of World Environment Day!

In view of the World Environment Day, the NSS unit of KSRIDSR organized a camp for the inmates of Helping Hearts Children Home, Erode and in Government Higher Secondary School, Pappampalayam, on Saturday, 15th June 2024. In Helping Hearts Children Home, 32 children were screened for oral diseases and an awareness talk was given regarding the importance of clean environment and methods of disposal of waste. In Government Higher Secondary School, Pappampalayam, the NSS volunteers planted tree plants inside the school and donated plants to the children, encouraging them to plant the trees in their surroundings. The program was successful in imparting awareness on protecting the environment among the children.
