The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology conducted a significant awareness initiative for the faculty and students of Anbu College of Nursing, Komarapalayam, on February 25, 2025. The session commenced at 11 AM with Dr.Suman Jaishankar addressing the gathering about the aim and motto of the event. Dr.Anand Kumar delivered an informative lecture on the etiology, progression, diagnostic approaches, and treatment modalities of oral cancer. This was followed by a lecture by Dr.R.Gomathi, who discussed breast cancer, emphasizing its risk factors and the importance of routine self-examinations for early detection. The audience engaged enthusiastically, appreciating the institution’s commitment to spreading awareness about these crucial health concerns. Almost 250 attendees were benefited by this event.
