As part of World Blood Donor day, the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry and Department of Public Health Dentistry in association with Tiruchengode Government Hospital conducted a blood donation camp in the college campus on 15th June 2023. The program was organised to instill the importance of blood donation among the students and to fulfill the need for blood for patients in the government hospital. Around 35 students and staff donated blood in the program. The program was presided by Dr.C.A.Mathew, Vice Principal and HOD, Department of Prosthodontics who also distributed the certificates to the blood donors. Dr.P.R.Geethapriya, HOD, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Dr.R.Prakash, HOD, Department of Public Health Dentistry and the medical officer and staff from Blood Donation Unit, Government Hospital, Tiruchengode participated in the camp.
