On account of World Blood Donor Day which is celebrated on the 14th of June, the Youth Red Cross of our institute conducted a blood donation camp on 13th June 2024 in the campus. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan, Mr.Rajeshkannan, Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Namakkal District, and Dr.Prakash, YRC Co-ordinator and Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry, were present during the camp. Around 45 participants including teaching, non-teaching staff and students eagerly participated and donated blood. Government Medical College and hospital, Namakkal Blood Bank officer Dr.Eswar, technician Mr.Suresh, and their team were helpful in collecting the donated blood. All the blood donors were issued an appreciation certificate.
