In view of World No Tobacco Day, a screening camp was organized by the Departments of Publich Health Dentistry and Oral Pathology and Microbiology, in association with IDA Erode Branch and Round Table on 28th May 2025. Chairman of Round Table and Chief Medical Officer of Railway Hospital inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. Around 45 railway employees were screened for oral diseases during this camp and a speech was given to create an awareness about the ill effects of tobacco among the employees.
