Anti-ragging awareness program conducted

An Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme was conducted for the First and Second Year BDS students on October 12th 2026, to create awareness about the importance of a safe and ragging-free campus environment. The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof.Dr.Vijay Prakash Mathur, AIIMS, New Delhi. Advocate Mr.Thirumoorthi was also present. Chief Guest Prof.Dr Vijay Prakash Mathur addressed the students and highlighted the harmful effects of ragging and encouraged students to foster a culture of kindness, equality and mutual understanding. Advocate Mr.Thirumoorthi spoke about the legal implications of ragging and encouraged students to maintain a ragging-free campus at KSRIDSR and informed them about measures that could be taken to prevent such incidents. Videos were screened during the event to educate the audience regarding the consequences of ragging.
