Anastamosis 2024 – CDE program by Basic Sciences departments organized!

Anastomosis, a yearly CDE program, was conducted on 5th July 2024 by all the Basic Sciences departments. Two speakers delivered lectures to the first and second year BDS students and faculty members. Dr.Sittadjody Sivanandane threw light on the types of stem cells, their functions, specialities and their uses in various ailments. He also spoke about the present scenario of regenerative medicine especially related to the serous aliments like cancer, diabetes, etc. Dr.J.Karthikesh spoke about the types of diabetes, reasons behind diabetes, prevention and the present medication of diabetes and their side effects. Both speakers enlightened the first and second year BDS students according to their needs.
