Dr.Ritu Duggal, Chief of the Centre for Dental Education and Research, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, delivered a guest lecture titled “Dentistry 4.0 – Exploring the new paradigm” in an event organized in the dental auditorium on 30th April 2024. She engaged the undergraduate and postgraduate students and the faculty members in a one hour interactive session. She navigated the audience through various phases of dentistry with respect to advances in technology and the impact of artificial intelligence in the field of dentistry. Principal Dr.Sharath Asokan felicitated the Chief Guest, following which she visited various departments, and interacted with faculty members, HoDs and non-teaching faculty. She also saw the infrastructure and facilities in place in KSRIDSR, and appreciated the vision and mission of KSRIDSR.
