Add-on course on diode lasers conducted by the Department of Periodontics!

The Department of Periodontics conducted a one day hands on program on the topic “Beyond the Scalpel: Mastering Diode lasers in Clinical Practice” on 28th February 2026. Dr.D.Jayachandran, Professor and HOD Incharge, Department of Implantology, Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem was the resource faculty of this program. He gave a lecture on the basic principles and clinical applications of diode lasers with demonstration of clinical cases. 40 participants enrolled for this course. The participants took part actively in the hands on training session under the guidance of resource faculty.
