The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, in association with the IQAC, conducted an add-on course titled “MONOCHROME 2K25 – CBCT in Dentistry” on 13th November 2025 as part of the World Radiography Day celebrations. Dr.Nilophar.A, Director [Ayras Dentscan, Coimbatore], delivered comprehensive sessions on the applications of CBCT in implantology and general dentistry. The program saw an active participation from 14 faculty members, 23 postgraduate students, and 45 interns. A hands-on workshop was also organized for 25 interns and 3 postgraduate students, focusing on the usage of CBCT software, nerve tracing, evaluation of edentulous spaces, implant planning, and assessment of impacted teeth. The workshop offered an engaging and practical learning experience, emphasizing the clinical importance of CBCT. Participants showed enthusiastic involvement throughout the event.
