In view of the NATIONAL DOCTORS’ DAY, the Department of Public Health Dentistry and the Department of Orthodontics organized and conducted an awareness and screening camp at Vellalar Senior Secondary School, Thindal, Erode on 1st July 2022 in the school campus. Around 200 children of age 13-14 years participated in the camp. A detailed presentation was done to educate the children about General Malocclusion and its preventive and corrective methods. Many children actively interacted during the session and their doubts were cleared immediately by the faculty members and postgraduates. Overall the camp was successful and many young students benefited from it.
